Bush Needs a Bathroom Break

From Yahoo

U.S. President George W. Bush writes a note to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during a Security Council meeting at the 2005 World Summit and 60th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York September 14, 2005. World leaders are exploring ways to revitalize the United Nations at a summit on Wednesday but their blueprint falls short of Secretary-General Kofi Annan's vision of freedom from want, persecution and war. It's funny-some of the conservative bloggers are outraged the press would take a such a picture and publish it, and yet this same press was within their rights to describe to us graphically all kinds of details of Clinton's anatomy and acts performed on a near a certain Ms. L.
I thought this picture was hysterical....

My husband wrote me this of the picture from what he is seeing on TV about it in China--it is actually getting a lot of airtime on CNN International and the BBC-
"the brits point out that in UN and international meetings, the americans have a habit of disrupting meetings by walking out or rudely talking among themselves"

Ambrose,

What would you rather explain to your young child (if you have one, if not, just suppose)? That the president has to sometimes use the restroom, like you and me, or, what a blowjob is? We all know what many, many parents had to deal with with Clinton's behavior. Do you think this will cause as much scandal? Or perhaps the left just needs to grow up.

David-
I think you missed my point. A lot of conservative bloggers/talking heads/radio fools are outraged that the media would publish a picture of the President needing a bathroom break, but a lot of these same people thought it was important that we understand the nature of The Stain and discuss that (while I am eating dinner). Yes, that is something I would rather explain to my kid-Bush's note. Regardless who the president is, I think it would have been funny-Presidnet Clinton, President Kerry, President McCain-that there in the middle of one of the most serious high profile meetings in the world this year the Presidnet needs a potty break. I don't understand the screaming on the conservative blogs that publishing this picture was symptomatic of Reuters "bias." It is a silly picture, let's all enjoy it, move on.
I also thought Ono and some of his friendlier readers might appreciate how this is playing in international news, where it has been picked up, and they are seeing it as a truly American thing that none of us know how to behave in these high-profile innternational meetings. Never having sat in on one myself, I don't know if that is true, but I thought it was interesting to note. I put the source there so anyone who read it could decide whether they wanted to believe it or not.
