i agree ono. will be interesting to see how all of this plays out in the next few months. will it continue to be an issue or fade away?
I have always liked Pres. Bush and I'm impressed that he left his ranch just to fly back to the White House to try to help with the fight for Terri,but at the same time I have to say that lately I am very disgusted with Bush's attitude toward Mexicans. Everybody kept talking about how much it costs to take care of Terri monthly. Well,at least she is an AMERICAN CITIZEN. I am so sick of hearing about the social security problem and how the elderly won't have any by 2033. If the money won't be there then, then why are we so determined to give it away now? I'm am also tired of hearing that Americans don't want the jobs that
Mexican's will do. That's just BULL. We need to get people off welfare and give them these jobs but pay them a decent wage. Yes,the mexicans work cheap but look at the whole picture. They come over here,get free food,housing,and medical that born Americans can't get and WE ARE PAYING FOR IT! So in reality they are coming out better than we are. That is why once they get over here and find out how good they have it,they want their whole family to come over too. This great country that we live in is going straight to the dogs. Our dimented government thinks more about giving our money away to countries and people who don't give a damn about us than it does about looking after our elderly who have worked here all their lives and paid taxes.
Our citizens should stand up and say we are no longer going to go along with giving what should go to our ELDERLY and DISABLED like Terri Schaivo to some nation that probably in the near future will be shooting rocket propelled grenades at us. I guess Bush thinks more of the mexicans than he does our own people! We have people right here who can't get healthcare and their kids can't go to the dentist but MEXICAN kids can.
Nobody can seem to come up with a solution to the s.s. problem. I can! Take care of our own back yard first!
And, as for Terri Schaivo,she would have never lived that long had she not wanted to LIVE. Every person who had a hand in her Death will eventually feel the wrath of GOD for their part in her MURDER.I hope they suffer at least as much as she did! I know that sounds cruel but if it had been their child the law would have been bent or changed for them. If you are famous or in politics you seem to matter so much more than the Terri Schiavos.These people have the devil inside them and they don't even know it. Her husband wanted her dead because he was afraid she would eventually tell that he tried to kill her. And his attorney George Felos is obsessed with death,and an EVIL,Evil person.
Also Bush said he would put 2000 more border patrol out if he was re-elected but has only come up with 210. Supposedely,that's all the budget would pay for. Well, I think it's probably a whole lot cheaper to have people employed to keep them out than to feed them,house them,and give them free medical. They come over here and don't even want to learn our language but our children have to learn theirs. The ACLU and Bush can call these border protectors or minute men REDNECKS and VIGILANTES but the truth we are tired of everybody else coming first.
The Schaivo judges need to be in jail. I'm wondering why Dr. Kivorkian is in jail. At least he was carrying out real wishes of terminally ill people. Terri was not terminally ill. What was done to her was no worse than what Saddam Hussein did to his people.
Even if she had said she wouldn't want to live like that,I don't think she would want to starve and thirst to death! That's Barbaric!
The devil is definitely walking OUR streets.
I think Terri is alot of the reason the "vigilantes" have taken to the border. People lost alot of faith in our government when they allowed a disabled person to slowly starve to death. I don't think anyone wants to die that way.
I feel so sorry for her family. No one should have to witness the starvation of their child or sibling.
Minute men keep up the good work! WE have the right tp protect and keep our people safe from freeloaders,criminals,and terrorists!
