In case you weren't sure what pure bred racism in the 21st century looks like

I give you Sodakmonk:

I don't care what an Oreo cookie like Ekeh thinks,

"Oreo cookie?" Black outside, white inside? Pray tell, why an oreo cookie? Because Blacks are brute ignorant beasts, who are uneducated, cannot talk, write or think. And when you meet one who can, he's an Oreo cookie, a white wannabe. Black people cannot possibly be articulate, after all. Any young black man who isn't pimping, stealing hubcaps, listening to gangsta rap, and in prison or on his way there is only Black on the outside.

That, my friends, is racism and Fr Matthew, aka Sodakmonk, is a bona fide racist. Now, we just need him to get his other friends on the Right to come out and say what they think on the inside.

Let me assure you all that SoDakMonk is indeed a real priest. I know him personally and frequently see him when I visit his monastery. And honestly, he is about as racist as Pope Benedict XVI is liberal.

Rev. Mr. Christensen, If the priest is not a racist, then how do you explain his comments? Is such language helpful in sharing the gospel?

i agree with kevin here. if this sodakmonk posted this commentary, then he is racist. no way around that one. those words were hurtful, immature, and flat-out wrong. he should be ashamed.

Ono rocks. The other guy's comments are offensive and he should apologize if he is indeed for real.

Well, even if kidding someone, racist remarks are not appropriate.

When my father-in-law found out his daughter was engaged to a Catholic (that would be ME) he exclaimed "Marrying a Catholic is worse than marrying a black man!" I wonder what he would have said if I was a Catholic-of-color? He likes me now, but he's still an anti-Catholic racist. It's sad, really, that people resort to such remarks to make themselves feel better.
